Union Trust Wedding Philadelphia {Nick & Tara}

Union Trust Wedding Philadelphia {Nick & Tara}

I first met Tara while she was getting ready at Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. She was getting her make up done, the girls were hanging out in their matching cozy cranberry robes, they were an ad for cool, calm, and collected. Although the room had a very chill morning of the wedding vibe, quiet is not how I would describe this group.

So, confession time. I may have been secretly wishing for snow for Tara & Nick’s January wedding. But what we got was SO MUCH BETTER! Amazing 60 degree temperatures meant we could do ALL of their portraits in center city Philadelphia, in and around city hall, and it was amazing!

It’s worth noting that Tara & Nick’s wedding was the weekend before the Philadelphia Eagles would play in (and go on to WIN) the Superbowl. So there was already an energy in the city. Add a stunning bride, groom, and wedding party walking through center city on a mild Saturday afternoon in January and the vibe was electric. People would honk or stop to say congratulations, a street performer played the wedding march on his saxophone, it was such an incredibly unique wedding photo experience for these two! SO MUCH FUN!!

The rest of the day went by in a flash.  The ceremony and reception were both held at Union Trust in Philadelphia.  It was a very personal and unique ceremony with two of Tara & Nick’s friends officiating.  It also included a hand fasting ceremony, so yes, they literally tied the knot. I had only been in Tara & Nick’s company for a few hours but quickly learned the type of people they are. They are genuine and kind, self-less and fun, and perfectly suited. An amazing pair. I wish the new Mr. & Mrs. Corvino a lifetime of happiness, I am truly grateful to have been able to capture their wedding day.
